Welcome to the Golden Quill family—where family is first. We began as a natural outgrowth of the publisher’s studies to attain a Master’s Degree in the Writing/Publishing program at Portland State University and from the publisher’s special interest in family history. We are a publishing house particularly interested in memoir, generational history, and topical studies related to family such as perseverance through illness, special connections to region, or family cookbooks.

We are more than a publisher: our main focus is on what we can do for you to help you preserve your memories. We offer an array of services dedicated to helping families in this endeavor.
